Hi all,

I'm trying to repair my mum's TV - It's developed a verical white stripe about 2" from the right hand side of the screen - the menu graphics are confused and lined. The TV picture is washed out and shifted left. picture colour is washed out - backlight seems ok.

I cant seem to find much mention of this board or TV, so I'm a bit lost. I'd be grateful for any pointers.

can you post a picture if possible?

i think on these they work fine without the nvm in and inserting a blank one reprograms set, how is it without one in at all?

I WOULD SAY Eeprom at first glance,worth trying a blank eeprom first,
i am very wery of taking the eeprom out and trying the set ,thats due to one never comming back on ever again!,
can and have you got the circuit to go into service settings etc?

I tried it with this PiC removed. ..Result was sound but a black screen. Replaced it and things were back to the fuzzy shifted screen as before.

No kit or intruction on how to interrogate the board I'm afraid.
