Mercedes and Mclaren top the practise times so far. Not sure what you can read into that though. Will find out a lot more on Saturday.

Not quite what I expected. McLarens are a bit off the pace and can't see them winning tomorrow. Ferraris look strong but Vettel deserved the pole.
Grid for Sunday.

"Stunning victory for Ferrari" said the BBC. Well, Vettel only lost because of a broken exhaust and the race, as a spectacle, didn't match up to all the hype to be honest.
Really unsure about the new rules but we need a few more races to see if they are all going to be paranoid processions with drivers worried about tyres. Hope not.
Points after Race 1.

Thought the the Spanish National Anthem dragged on a bit.

Watched the started fast forwarded to 30 mins in and then deleted the recording.
Most God awful boring track ever. No spectator areas really.
Hope the rest of the season is better than that.
